Is it unsafe to use a mobile phone when it’s charging?

It is unlikely that talking on your mobile phone while it is charging is harmful if the battery is genuine and from a good brand

An email forward warning people against making calls on their cell phone while it is being charged has been in circulation for several years now. It may have been derived from an August 2004 news report of an Indian man who died of electrocution when he answered his mobile phone while it was charging.

Yet there are no proven dangers in using a mobile phone while it is charging. According to a report in The Washington Post in 2006, ‘Although this claim (news report) is true, there have been no other accounts of similar accidents.’
