Samsung claims its new triple heating system will allow for more efficient cooking
Samsung claims that its new Convection Microwave Trio with a triple heating system – the first of its kind – increases efficiency with three heating sources. According to the manufacturer, the ceramic heater penetrates food more deeply, the quartz heater cooks the outer layer of food faster and the sheath heater accelerates the overall process – thereby cooking the food more evenly, faster, and with less energy. With a capacity of 28 litres, the microwave is priced at Rs.13, 990 and comes with a warranty of five years.
For the times when you are in a hurry or can’t remember cooking temperatures and timings, the microwave has several options in the auto menu. The ergonomic handle, according to Samsung, is easy to grip and you can look through the wide tempered black window and check the progress of whatever you’re cooking.
The manufacturer also claims that the microwave’s ‘crusty plate’ turns it into a regular pizza oven with a grill heater.
Verdict: If the triple heating system does in fact cook food faster and with less energy, this microwave could make for a sensible purchase.
